Homeless people often go without the basic necessities most people take for granted. In the struggle to find food and a safe place to sleep, they find it difficult to acquire basic items such as soap, deodorant, and toothbrushes. It’s heartbreaking to know that rarely do homeless people receive the hygiene supplies necessary to maintain their health and confidence. And yet, access to basic personal supplies can give vulnerable homeless a greater sense of self and a brighter outlook on life despite their current living arrangements.
Homeless Heroes Aid is running a ‘Basic Needs Campaign’ where we encourage donors to purchase a Kit for a vulnerable homeless person which is handed directly to a homeless man or woman on your behalf. In addition for each 1 Kit purchased online by a donor, Homeless Heroes Aid will distribute 2 Kits matching the individuals donation.
If you would like to support this campaign, please purchase a ‘Basic Needs Kit’ online. By giving these basic supplies to the homeless, you can help them avoid physical and dental health problems. Perhaps even more importantly, you can help them retain their dignity during the most trying time in their lives.

"Clippers meant that I could look presentable. I thought about survival on the streets. Now … I’m cool.”
